I was a very shy kid who always sat alone. I didn’t really have friends and I could never remember when or how that changed. I always used to wonder what got me to break out of my shell. I then realized, it was books. Books for some encouraged introverts but, for me, they forced me out of my shell because I just couldn’t help but share what I had read. When I took up reading is when I became social because I would read something brilliant or controversial and I just had to tell everyone about it. Whether that made me enemies or friends, I don’t know but it made me talk one way or another.
